Fees

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. Many insurance carriers will reimburse a portion of my fee if you submit a superbill (a detailed receipt of services that I provide). Please note that Kaiser is a notable exception and typically does not offer out-of-network reimbursement for therapy.

To make the process easier, I partner with Thrizer, a platform that simplifies out-of-network billing. Thrizer handles claim submissions on your behalf and helps you maximize your benefits with minimal effort.

Using Thrizer for Out-of-Network Benefits
I partnered with Thrizer, a platform that makes it easier for clients to use their out-of-network insurance benefits for therapy. With Thrizer, you have two options for how payments and reimbursements are handled:

  1. Thrizer Pay

    • You pay only your portion of the session cost (your co-insurance), plus Thrizer’s small service fee (5% of my fee).

    • Thrizer pays me directly for the full session fee, so you do not need to pay me upfront.

    • This option functions like an in-network experience — you only pay your share at the time of service, and Thrizer handles the rest.

  2. OON Pay (Out-of-Network Pay)

    • You pay my full session fee at the time of your appointment.

    • Thrizer then submits your insurance claim for you.

    • Once your insurance processes the claim, you receive your reimbursement (minus Thrizer’s 1% fee).

Which option is right for you?
Thrizer will verify your insurance benefits and help you decide. You can update your choice at any time. Email help@thrizer.com for support in deciding what is best for you.
